Why we are requesting donations

We rely on small donations to finance our frequent activities. In the last year, these have included:

• a family cargo-bike event;
• community showing of The Oil Machine — a film on the climate emergency plus presentations and discussion; 
• a well-attended café event with stalls; 
• and group participation under our own banner in marches and demonstrations. 

And we created our own Edinburgh-centred leaflet to distribute at local events: 7 Simple Ways to Help the Planet .

Why it matters

Even small donations help us to maintain and extend our efforts to develop sustainable, healthy, and inclusive neighbourhoods that meet the real needs of people and come together to advance larger awareness raising national campaigns.
